White-Label Facebook Ads Reports: 3 Ways Compared

You can deliver white-label Facebook Ads reports three ways: build them by hand in spreadsheets and slides, build dashboards in Data Studio, or use a dedicated reporting tool. The right route depends on how many clients you have, how many hours you can spend each month, and whether clients need live dashboards or a monthly document.

This guide compares the three routes honestly, including the cases where the big subscription platforms are the better choice.

What white-label actually means

A white-label report carries your brand, or the client's, and nobody else's. That means your logo, colors and fonts, no vendor watermark or "powered by" footer, and in some tools your own domain or sender address for shared links and emails.

When you evaluate any tool, check these points:

  • Can you upload a logo and set brand colors?
  • Is the vendor's name removed from the cover, footer and shared links?
  • Which plan includes white-label? Some tools reserve it for higher tiers, so check the plan you would actually buy.
  • What does a shared link or an emailed report look like to the client?

Route 1: Do it yourself

How it works. Export from Ads Manager, build charts in a spreadsheet, place them in a branded slide or document template, and export a PDF.

Cost. No software bill, but your time is the price. See what manual client reporting really costs.

Strengths. Total control over the design and the story, and no subscription.

Limits. Repetitive, easy to make copy-paste mistakes, and the effort grows in step with your client list.

Best for. One to three clients, or reports that are mostly custom strategy rather than numbers.

Route 2: Data Studio

How it works. Data Studio is Google's free dashboard tool (it was called Looker Studio until April 2026). You connect a data source, design the dashboard, and share a link or export a PDF. For Meta Ads you usually need a third-party connector.

Cost. The base tool is free. Connectors cost extra, and a Pro tier adds team features. See Data Studio alternatives for the details we verified.

Strengths. Flexible, free at the entry level and live.

Limits. You design and maintain every report yourself, connectors can break, and the PDF export is basic.

Best for. People who enjoy building dashboards and want a free, live view.

Route 3: A dedicated reporting tool

There are two kinds.

Subscription platforms such as AgencyAnalytics, DashThis, Whatagraph and Swydo connect to your clients' accounts, offer templates and many integrations, and give clients live dashboards. Their pricing usually scales with clients, dashboards or data sources.

CSV-first tools such as MetriQuill work from the export instead. You upload the Ads Manager CSV and get a formatted, branded report. There is no connector to authorize or break, but there is a manual export step each period, and the report is only as fresh as the export.

What the platforms cost

Entry prices and how they scale, as of September 2026. These are the figures we verified for our comparison pages, and prices change, so check current pricing before you decide.

ToolEntry priceHow it scales
AgencyAnalytics$79/mo for up to 5 clients ($59/mo billed annually)Roughly $20/mo more for each additional client
DashThis$49/mo for 3 dashboards ($42/mo billed annually)$149/mo for 10 dashboards and $289/mo for 25
WhatagraphFrom $229/mo, billed annually onlyHigher tiers as accounts and sources grow
SwydoAbout $69/mo including 10 data sourcesRoughly $4.50/mo for each additional source
Reporting Ninja$20/mo for up to 10 accounts per platform typeIt is a connector into Sheets and Data Studio, so you still design the report
Data StudioFreePro tier is $9 per user per project per month, and connectors cost extra

These platforms earn their price when you need live, multi-channel dashboards across many clients. AgencyAnalytics, for example, is well reviewed, at 4.7 out of 5 across more than 450 G2 reviews as of our last check. If your deliverable is a monthly Meta report, though, you may be paying for connections you never use. Compare all of them in one place on the alternatives page.

Where CSV-first fits, and where it does not

It fits when you deliver a monthly report on Meta (and perhaps TikTok, Google or Snapchat), you want a fixed cost that does not grow with every client, and you would rather not manage connections.

It does not fit when clients need live dashboards, you report across dozens of channels, or you want reporting fully automated with no export step. In those cases a subscription platform is the honest answer.

MetriQuill is currently sold as one-time launch plans, with unlimited client profiles and white-label PDFs on the top plan. See the pricing section of the site for current terms. You can test the workflow on a real export first with the free MetriQuill tool, which needs no account.

White-label setup checklist

  • A brand kit: a transparent PNG logo, one or two colors and a font.
  • Consistent file names, such as "[Client] - Facebook Ads report - [Month Year]".
  • A footer with your agency's contact details and no vendor mention.
  • A cover page with the client name, the period and "prepared by" your agency.
  • Delivery from your own email address, and a check of how shared links look.
  • A test: open the report on a phone before the first real send.
  • The same template every month, so clients learn where to look.

For what goes inside the report, see the Facebook Ads report template.

Frequently asked questions

Is white-label reporting worth it? It helps clients see one professional source and protects your relationship with them. But the content matters more than the branding. A branded report that does not explain results is still a weak report.

Can I white-label Data Studio? You control the design, so there is nothing of the tool's to remove, but check how the shared link and any PDF look to the client before you rely on it.

Does white-label cost extra? Sometimes. Some tools reserve it for higher plans, so confirm which plan includes it before you buy.

What do I need to get started? An Ads Manager export and a template. Steps are in how to export Meta Ads data to CSV.
